Questions: What makes you cry when you write? How emotionally involved do you become in your story? What do you write that would make your readers cry?
I agree, Susan. I've shed many a tear while writing a scene. I was told that when my editor was reading Surrender the Wind, she came out of her office wiping her eyes. When asked what was wrong by her coworkers, she replied she was reading StheW.
No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader.
