What are you hoping to gain from reading blogs on books, writing, the publishing industry?
What would make it worth your while to read a blog weekly?
Did you know I write another blog in addition to InSpire? . . . Well it is more like a website where I showcase some of the most excellent authors in the inspirational category. They share their stories, their lives, what motivated them to write their novels with Stepping Stones Magazine for Readers.

I think for me it's part curiosity and part attachment. I've formed relationships with other bloggers and reading their posts is like a quick hello, how are you. Plus I love learning new stuff, craft or otherwise. :-)
I like reading blogs because even when they deal with complex issues like politics and religion, the blog environment helps maintain a casual atmosphere. Also, since I know the bloggers are writing their posts live, reading something they've written only hours beforehand gives me a sense of connection with them.
The reason I read blogs on books is because I AM HOOKED ON READING. I love to read reviews or to hear about the lastest book that is coming out. Another reason is the giveaways! :) Who doesn't NEED another book??? My hubby thought when I got a Kindle for my birthday he wouldn't have to see another book in the house!(Isn't that funny???) You can NEVER have enough books.
